In Touch the Universe, a divorced professor builds a new life for herself, sewing dresses and linens in her spare time. All the while, her new neighbours try to breathe life back into her, reminding her that there is more to living than what is lost.

Juliana Crespo’s work has appeared or is forthcoming in North American Review, Hobart, PANK, and Fiction Southeast, among others. Originally born in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil, she is now ironically a high school English teacher in Bloomington, Indiana.
